Advisory Council

The School of Veterinary Medicine Advisory Council serves as an advisory group to support the School through advice, advocacy, access and support.

The Advisory Council is comprised of leaders from academia, alumni, veterinary practice, industry and other stakeholders who provide expert knowledge in their respective fields with the purpose of assisting the Dean to meet the School’s mission by:

  • Supporting the efforts of leadership as consultants to the School’s strategic direction, vision, and decision-making for long range planning.
  • Promoting and enhancing the effectiveness of achieving the School’s goals.
  • Acting as thought leaders; providing collaborative expertise and valuable advice to the School’s leadership and administration.
  • Advocating for the School as early adopters and supporters in its mission to advance One Health activities.

The Rowan University School of Veterinary Medicine Advisory Council is a volunteer organization.

The Council meets quarterly and upon request.
